Fortunately, there are proactive measures firefighters can implement to protect themselves, their team, their family, and their community.
The National Volunteer Fire Council and the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ Volunteer and Combination Officers Section, introduced the Lavender Ribbon Report, outlining 11 essential actions firefighters should adopt to reduce their risk of occupational cancer.
